Immediate Opening – System Administrator at Spancore Technology!
Key Responsibilities
1. Server & System Management
-
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications.

Monitor system performance to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to systems regularly.
-
Manage file servers, storage systems, virtualization environments, and cloud platforms.
2. Network Administration
-
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and routers.
-
Ensure network security and manage access controls for employees.
-
Resolve connectivity issues and coordinate with ISPs or vendors when required.
-
Implement network optimization strategies for better speed and reliability.
3. User Support & Helpdesk Management
-
Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
-
Set up user accounts, emails, permissions, and access controls.
-
Train users on IT policies, cybersecurity, and usage best practices.
-
Handle incident reports and service requests promptly.
4. IT Security & Data Protection
-
Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and security policies.
-
Protect sensitive organizational data through encryption, backups, and access control.
-
Monitor for unauthorized access, malware, phishing attacks, and other threats.
-
Ensure compliance with security standards like ISO, GDPR, or other relevant regulations.
5. Backup & Disaster Recovery
-
Develop and execute backup strategies to ensure data safety.
-
Maintain disaster recovery plans for unexpected outages or cyber incidents.
-
Test recovery processes periodically to confirm operational readiness.

Minimize downtime and ensure business continuity during system failures.
6. Software & Hardware Management
-
Install and configure operating systems, business applications, and enterprise software.
-
Procure, maintain, and manage hardware assets such as servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Track warranty, AMC, and software licensing to ensure compliance.

Recommend hardware and software upgrades based on performance analysis.
7. Cloud & Virtualization Support
-
Manage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Administer virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar solutions).
-
Monitor resource allocation to avoid bottlenecks and ensure optimal cloud utilization.
8. Documentation & Reporting
-
Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and system architecture.

Prepare regular IT performance and security reports for management.
-
Track incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures for future reference.
