Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented System Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support IT infrastructure. The role involves maintaining system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring security compliance, and providing reliable support to business applications and users.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications (Windows/Linux/VMware).
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and other core infrastructure services.
Ensure security standards are followed, including patching, vulnerability management, and access control.
Perform backup, disaster recovery, and system restore testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Provide technical documentation, system reports, and user guides.
Support virtualization, storage, and cloud-based environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Participate in 24x7 support rotations, if required.
Drive continuous improvements for system efficiency, automation, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–6 years of experience as a System Engineer / System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server / Linux administration.
Hands-on experience with VMware / Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
Experience managing Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, and system security tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
CompTIA Server+ / Security+
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar
