Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 (L1) technical support for compute infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance, health checks, and incident management through ticketing tools.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues related to compute infrastructure.
- Assist with user access management and permission configurations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for escalation and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for complex issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Adhere to SLAs for response and resolution times.
Technical Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux Server administration.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Awareness of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
