• Provide cross-team System Engineering and product lifecycle support to all other disciplines (Product Mgt, Hardware, Software, Test, Service, etc.) • Requirements analysis and development of the system functional specification • Create and own functional requirements with sufficient clarity and detail • Discuss and brainstorm product backlog with product managers, Product Owners, clinical experts, service engineers and other stakeholders • Support Product Owner and other members of scrum team in development of user stories and UI prototypes • Work with stakeholders to identify and assess product risks (frequency, certainty, severity, and mitigations). Must have the ability to think clearly to root causes and make logical decisions. Should have the ability to recommend, convince, and implement the most pragmatic solutions. • Establish traceability between system function specifications and its source requirements • Support in development of system architecture in collaboration with the SW architecture team • Collaborate with development team in clarifying and explaining product requirements. Support the realization process to ensure proper requirements implementation. This includes but is not limited to requirement clarifications, design reviews etc. • Support test team during Integration Testing • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) and coordinate change requests and defect reports • Generate novel ideas for product and attempt to file the same for Patents after due diligence with evaluator and keeping the feasibility and business impact in mind • Support in customer visits Desired Qualification and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Electronics/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree a plus • 7 to 9 years of systems engineering, software and/or hardware experience preferably in a medical device or other regulated development environment • Experience or working knowledge with angiography and/or hemodynamics and/or electrophysiology domain is desirable • Experience with user interface design is desirable • Very Good understanding of SDLC process. Experience working with Agile based development process for minimum of 3 years. • Desirable: Medical domain knowledge (DICOM, HL7 etc.) • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in an English-speaking international workplace (Germany, & India) • Strong, analytic and decision-making skills • Positive attitude and responsible.
