Job Description

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on the management servers, desktops, laptops, and smart devices belonging to the organization and using tools like anti-virus solutions, firewalls, and other relevant software
2. Handling the management of software installation and up-gradation requirements on all servers, desktops, laptops, and smart devices
3. Overseeing the management of data backup, recovery, and restoration tasks for all servers, desktops, laptops, and smart devices belong to the organization
4. Monitoring organization's infrastructure assets periodically (servers, desktops, laptops, and smart devices)
5. Handling the management of hardware component up-gradation and maintenance requirements for all infrastructural assets belonging to the organization
6. Working on the maintenance and management of organization (LAN, WAN, and VPN environments)

Other requirements

1. Must have basic knowledge of hardware and networking

2. Must have basic knowledge of working on operating systems, including Ubuntu, Linux, Windows OS

3. Must have a working knowledge of switches, cabling, patching, and maintaining up of network topologies

4. Must have knowledge of setting up and usage of infrastructure monitoring tools

Additional Information

The role involves the upkeeping, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including servers, and providing support to remote location team members on the same.
