Job Description
Role: Installing, configure and support Solaris and Linux based systems for group companies
Technical Skills: Independently install and maintain Solaris 11, Linux 6,7. Knowledgeable in TCP Networking, NFS, NTP, Backup & Restore, applying OS & Application Patches, basic system performance & Nagios monitoring tools & basic Scripting.
Technology Areas: Solaris 11, Linux 6,7.
Oracle LDOM, Zones, Server T4-4, T7-1.
Desirable: System Vulnerability checks & Hardening Techniques
Responsibilities:
• Install the Solaris, Linux systems
• Patching and maintaining the systems
• Troubleshoot and report system and application issues.
• Support different development and user teams.
• Document all the process, solution implementation and resolutions.
• Flexibility to work on other standard system administration.
