Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tally Faculty to train students in Tally ERP and Tally Prime software, accounting principles, and GST-related processes. The ideal candidate should have both practical experience in using Tally and teaching skills to deliver concepts in a simple, engaging, and structured manner. The role includes conducting training sessions, preparing course content, and evaluating student performance.
The Tally Faculty will play a key role in shaping students' accounting knowledge and software skills, preparing them for jobs in accounting, finance, and taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting Training Sessions:

Deliver classroom and/or online training sessions in Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime, including modules such as:

Accounting & Journal Entries
-
Inventory Management
-
Taxation (GST, TDS)
-
Payroll
-
MIS Reporting
-
Bank Reconciliation
-
-
Explain theoretical concepts of accounting and finance in an easy-to-understand manner.
2. Curriculum and Course Material Preparation:

Design course plans, handouts, and assignments based on Tally certification syllabi or customized content.

Regularly update training material based on changes in Tally software, taxation laws, or accounting practices.

Prepare practice exercises and real-life case studies for hands-on learning.
3. Student Evaluation and Support:

Monitor student progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical tests.

Provide feedback, address doubts, and assist weaker students in understanding complex topics.

Guide students on project work, resume building, and preparation for interviews in accounting roles.
4. Tally Software Management:

Install, configure, and maintain Tally ERP/Prime on institute systems (if required).

Ensure software licensing is up to date and functioning correctly.

Assist with demo accounts or trial version access for students.
5. Soft Skills and Professional Development:

Help students build communication and office etiquette relevant to accounting roles.

Share insights about the accounting job market, entry-level roles, and expectations in the industry.

Train students on basic MS Excel and business correspondence related to accounting if needed.
6. Reporting and Coordination:

Maintain attendance records, performance tracking, and training feedback forms.

Coordinate with admin/academic teams for scheduling, certification, and placement support.

Participate in regular faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com preferred)

Tally Certification or Diploma in Accounting Software is an advantage
Core Skills:

Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Tally’s features, including GST, inventory, payroll, and reports

Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, balance sheets, etc.

Teaching Skills: Ability to simplify and explain complex software or finance topics

Communication Skills: Clear and engaging verbal communication, fluent in English and/or Hindi (or local language)

MS Office Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reports and assignments
