Sub Inspector/Foreman Jobs recruitment in Tamil Nadu PSC
Sub Inspector of Fisheries (2013 - 2016) (Post Code. 1760)/12 (7+5) (B.F.Sc. holders - 7 Other Qualification Holders – 5)
Qualification: (i) Must possess the Associate Diploma in Fisheries Science of the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Bombay; or (ii) Must possess a Certificate of successful completion of the full course of Inland or Marine Fisheries classes conducted by the Government of India; or (iii) Must possess a diploma in Fisheries Technology and Navigation awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or (iv)Must possess a Science degree with Zoology as main subject; or (v) Must possess a degree of Bachelor of Fisheries Science
Age:18 -30 yrs
Foreman (MARINE) 2014-2015 (Post Code 1762)/ 4 Posts
Qualification:(i) Must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering; or (ii) Must possess a Post-Diploma in Diesel Traction issued by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and Training or (iii) Must possess a diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and Training with experience for a period not less than two years in any workshop or in handling diesel engines.

Mode of Payment of Examination Fee: Examination fee Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) Candidates have to register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of one-time registration.

About Company
The Madras Service Commission thus came into being under an Act of the Madras Legislature in 1929. Madras Presidency had the unique honour, of being the only province in India to establish the first Service Commission. The Madras Service Commission started with three Members, including the Chairman. After re-organisation of States in 1957, several Commissions were constituted. The Madras Service Commission became Madras Public Service Commission with headquarters at Madras in the year 1957. During 1970, when the name of the State was changed into Tamil Nadu, the Madras Public Service Commission automatically became the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).
