Job Description

SRF/JRF/ Project Assistant Neuro-Sciences recruitment in Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences

Project entitled DST-CSRI Project on “Cognitive Deficits in Canines, their Impact on Olfactory Detection and Cognitive Optimization for Sniffer Dogs”

Senior / Junior Research Fellow /1 Post

Qualification: M.V.Sc in any branch of Veterinary and Animal Sciences or Post-graduate degree (with NET Qualifications) in Cognitive Sciences / Behavioral Sciences / Neuro-Sciences / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences for JRF Position. JRF with 2 years of Experience is eligible for SRF Position.

Experience in Veterinary Clinical Service Delivery is preferred.


Pay Scale : Rs 28,000 /month + HRA @ 30% (If all the eligibility criteria for SRF, stipulated by DST is met)

Project Assistant /1 Post

Qualification:Graduate degree in Cognitive Sciences / Behavioral Sciences / Neuro-Sciences/ Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences / a Recognized Degree in Humanities/Arts/Technologies. 


Experience in Desktop Works (DTP) Processing and Candidates with TWO WHEELER are Preferred.

Pay Scale :Rs.8000
