I’m a Chartered Accountant who operates a small firm that provides tax services to international clients. I primarily assist North American SMEs and professionals with optimizing and preparing their income tax returns.

Tax is a technical field that requires logical thinking and strong number sense. This is why I’m looking for an individual with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education/background to join my firm as a Tax Analyst.

This is a full-time (5 days per week) and remote (100% work from home) position. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Indian Standard Time.

Job duties:

1) Preparing and filing corporate and individual income tax returns

2) Researching tax optimization strategies

3) Dealing directly with clients (via email and telephone)

4) Undertaking business development initiatives (sales and marketing)

Required qualification:

1) Undergraduate degree in a STEM field

Preferred qualifications:

1) Postgraduate degree

2) Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

3) Finance or accounting education/experience

4) Income tax experience

Other:

1) Target salary range: Rs. 20,000 - 40,000 per month.

2) 15 days paid vacation + 8 days paid national and state holidays = 23 paid days off annually.

3) Guidance will be provided to the successful candidate so they can self-learn.

4) Above all, I am looking for someone who can work independently, takes initiative, and is highly motivated to learn about taxation.
