Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching & Instruction:

Deliver lessons based on the prescribed curriculum using effective and creative teaching methods.

Develop daily lesson plans and instructional materials suited to students’ learning styles and levels.

Explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.

Use real-life examples, visuals, technology, and activities to enhance learning.
2. Student Engagement & Development:
-
Create a supportive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.

Encourage student participation through group activities, discussions, and projects.
-
Identify and support students with different learning needs and abilities.

Monitor student behavior, address classroom issues tactfully, and maintain decorum.
3. Assessment & Progress Tracking:
-
Conduct regular assessments, tests, and quizzes to evaluate student understanding.

Assign and evaluate homework, classwork, and projects fairly and consistently.
-
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
-
Provide constructive feedback to students and share updates with parents.
4. Parent Communication & Reporting:
-
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about academic performance and behavior.
-
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, report card discussions, and open houses.
-
Address concerns, offer suggestions for improvement, and celebrate student achievements.
5. Curriculum & Resource Planning:

Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning with fellow teachers and academic coordinators.

Select and use appropriate teaching aids, tools, and learning resources.

Integrate digital tools, multimedia, and other innovative approaches to enhance teaching.
6. Professional Development & Team Collaboration:
-
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops organized by the school.

Collaborate with other teachers, subject heads, and administrative staff for cross-functional activities.

Stay updated with educational trends, teaching techniques, and subject knowledge.
7. Extracurricular & School Activities:
-
Assist with organizing school events, competitions, assemblies, and educational trips.

Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities for holistic development.

Supervise students during school hours, field trips, and special events when assigned.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Subject Expertise:

Strong command over the subject matter and curriculum for the relevant class level.

Ability to simplify and convey concepts effectively.
Classroom Management:

Ability to manage time and maintain classroom discipline.

Handle students’ questions, conflicts, and behavioral issues with patience and authority.
Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and regional language if applicable).

Ability to explain, motivate, and provide constructive feedback.
Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with MS Office, Google Classroom, Zoom, smart boards, and other digital teaching platforms.

Willingness to integrate technology into lesson delivery.
Soft Skills:
