Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Assign positions to class assistants based on requirements and skills
· Welcome the student into the class
· Monitor the students and ensure that they are doing the work at a steady pace in the best environment.
· Make sure children arrives and leave with the time slot.
· Manage class assistants to work as required according to their skills (rotate to busy areas).
· Updated attendance to be sent along with the respective fee bag at end of class.
· Sign the class assistants’ schedules.
· Update phone, parent’s numbers, class and birthdays.
. Update Students Database.
· Arrange transfer of students to other branches if necessary.
. Prepare for students diagnostic testing.
. Update the students file.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Instruction and Curriculum Delivery

Design, prepare, and deliver lesson plans in accordance with national and local curriculum guidelines.

Ensure lesson plans cater to different learning styles and abilities, incorporating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic teaching methods.

Integrate educational technology, multimedia, and other innovative teaching tools to enhance the learning experience.

Provide clear explanations and instructions, using appropriate language and context for the grade level or subject.

Encourage class participation through discussion, activities, and interactive exercises.
2. Classroom Management
-
Establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

Set clear behavior expectations and apply consistent discipline in accordance with school policies.

Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes mutual respect among students.

Manage time effectively during class sessions to cover all learning objectives.
3. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring
-
Develop and administer various types of assessments, such as quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments.

Evaluate student performance fairly and constructively, providing feedback that supports learning and growth.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress in a timely manner.

Identify students who may require additional support and refer them to appropriate resources, such as counselors or special education services.
4. Communication and Collaboration

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and classroom activities.

Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide constructive feedback on student development.

Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to share best practices, co-plan lessons, and address school-wide issues.

Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
5. Curriculum and Program Development

Assist in developing and refining curriculum materials and teaching strategies.

Participate in school-wide curriculum review and implementation processes.

Contribute ideas for enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and interdisciplinary projects.
6. Professional Growth and Development

Stay updated with current teaching practices, educational research, and subject-specific knowledge.

Pursue continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, online courses, or further education.

Reflect regularly on teaching practices and student outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

Maintain appropriate certifications and licenses as required by local educational authorities.
