Key Duties:
Deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Learning:

Prepare and deliver daily lessons in line with the prescribed curriculum and teaching plan.

Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and student needs.

Integrate technology, project-based learning, and hands-on activities into daily instruction.

Encourage active student participation, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
2. Curriculum Implementation:

Follow school curriculum guidelines, assessment methods, and learning outcomes.

Design lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments in alignment with academic objectives.

Regularly update teaching materials and lesson content to stay current and relevant.

Prepare students for school tests, board exams, and academic competitions (if applicable).
3. Classroom Management:

Maintain discipline, respect, and order in the classroom.

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment conducive to learning.

Address behavioral issues with empathy and authority, escalating serious matters as needed.

Foster good student-teacher relationships based on trust, motivation, and respect.
4. Assessment & Evaluation:

Conduct regular assessments through written tests, assignments, oral exams, or presentations.

Grade student work and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and academic performance.

Use results and feedback to adjust teaching strategies for better student outcomes.
5. Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate regularly with parents during PTMs or as needed to discuss student development.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and coordinators to plan academic strategies.

Participate in staff meetings, teacher training, school events, and parent-teacher interactions.

Support interdisciplinary teaching and school-wide academic programs or fairs.
6. Student Mentorship & Support:

Encourage the personal, social, and emotional development of students.

Identify learning difficulties or special needs and coordinate with school counselors or special educators.

Act as a class teacher (if assigned), taking responsibility for overall welfare and development of the assigned class.
7. Administrative Duties:

Maintain documentation such as attendance registers, lesson plans, report cards, and disciplinary records.

Support administrative work during exams, co-curricular activities, or school events.
-
Ensure compliance with school policies, regulations, and safety protocols.
