Job Position: Teacher - Std 8th to 10th
Subject: Science & SS (Maharashtra Board)
Pay: 8,000 to 10,000
Time: 7:00 am to 12:50 pm
Job Location: Amar Jyoti Group of Schools & Junior College, Bhayandar East
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
- Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.
- Creative mindset with an ability to create memorable, out-of-the-box lessons.
- ECC.ED/BA/B.ED or any relevant degree; MA/M. Ed is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Lesson Planning:
-
Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons in Science (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Studies (History, Civics, Geography, and Economics) aligned with Maharashtra State Board (SSC) syllabus.

Integrate practical examples, experiments, and audio-visual teaching aids to make lessons interactive and engaging.

Design and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse learning needs of students across different academic levels.
Student Learning & Assessment:

Conduct regular assessments through unit tests, class tests, oral quizzes, and preliminary exams.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom behavior.

Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students who require additional academic assistance.

Prepare students thoroughly for SSC Board exams, focusing on question patterns, writing skills, and time management.
Curriculum Development & Coordination:

Participate in curriculum planning and contribute to question paper setting and evaluation processes.

Stay updated with the latest Maharashtra Board syllabus revisions, exam pattern changes, and circulars.

Collaborate with subject department members to align content delivery and ensure consistency across classes.
Classroom Management:

Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and student well-being.

Manage student behavior using respectful, age-appropriate strategies.

Encourage curiosity, creativity, and participation among students during lessons and discussions.
Parent Communication & Reporting:

Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance, learning strategies, and behavioral issues.

Provide timely updates to parents regarding academic concerns, test results, and student progress reports.
Professional Development:

Attend staff meetings, workshops, seminars, and in-house training sessions to improve subject knowledge and teaching methodologies.

Keep up with educational trends, NEP guidelines, and state-level education policies that may affect curriculum delivery.
