Job Summary

Teachers are responsible for the delivery of all subjects, with particular emphasis on the core subjects of literacy, numeracy and science.

Typical responsibilities include:

• lesson and themes planning and preparation in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching subjects from Pre- KG to V grade
• checking pupils' work
• attending parents' evenings
• preparing for inspections
• Coordinating extracurricular activities
• undertaking professional development

Responsibilities and Duties

• Instruct through discussions, demonstrations and group work. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students
• Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.
• Meet with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioral or academic problems.
• . Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education for Elementary Education or an Early Childhood Diploma from a recognized University

Teaching License for Pre- KG or Primary

• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behavior issues
• Must have excellent English communication skills
• Required Experience: 1 to 5 years

Both experienced and New Graduates will be considered

• Should be culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
• Good observation towards kids performance, behavior, social, mental, physical development.
