Teachers/Doctor/Nurse/ Coaches recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalayas No.2 Ferozepur Cantt.
1. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) Hindi/ English/ Maths Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Comp. Science Nature of Appointment – Purely Contractual basis
1. Two years‟ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects: a) PGT (English)- English b) PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
c) PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics d) PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics. e) PGT(Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem. f) PGT (Biology) - Botany/ Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Hindi/ English/ Sanskrit/ Maths/ Science/ Social Science Nature of Appointment – Purely Contractual basis
Essential: i) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subject and in aggregate.
3 PRT (Primary Teacher)
Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and ii) Diploma of Certificate in basic teachers’ training of duration of not less than two years or B.El.Ed.
iii) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper – I, conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iv) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media. v) Candidates Graduate with B.ED and cleared CTET Paper I in 2018 are also eligible for the post of PRT.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
4.Staff Nurse
Qualification Diploma in nursing/Diploma in General Nursing & Midwife
5.Medical Doctor
Qualification: MBBS along with registration with Medical Council
6.Guidance Counselor
Qualification: B.A./B.Sc.(Psychology) with certificate of Diploma in Counseling
Desirable: Minimum of One Year Experience in Providing Career/Educational Counseling to students at Schools. Or Working knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus. Or Registration with rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counselor.
Computer Instructor
Qualification :B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science)/B.C.A./M.C.A./M.Sc. (Computer Science)/M.Sc.(Electronic with Computer Science component)/M.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(Computer Science) Or
Bachelor’s /Master degree in any Science subject/Mathematics from recognized University with Postgraduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized University/Institute. Or
Post-graduate degree in any subject with Postgraduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized University/’O’ level from DOEACC Or Post-graduate degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ level form DOEACC
Sports Coach
Qualification :Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent. With 50% Marks
Classical Dance Bharatanatyam or Kuchipudi
Qualification Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer.
Instrumental Music
Qualification .Essential i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Instrumental Music or equivalent from a recognized University.

Qualification Graduate in any discipline with degree/Diploma in Yoga from recognized university

This Vidyalaya was started in 1987 under Principal Sh. C. L. Bhola and Chairman Brig. S.K. Nair, 29 brig. to cater to the need of central government transferable employees as KV, already in existence, was unable to fulfill the ever increasing demand of this station. Initially the Vidyalaya was started with a temporary accommodation provided by the station authorities at Godown Road (present Army School). In 1999 the Vidyalaya was shifted to its newly and beautiful building constructed by KVS. (Photograph can be seen on top). At present the Vidyalaya is catering to the need of about 800 students and imparts education upto Class XII (Science Stream). In two decades of continuous service the Vidyalaya has come up to the expectation of the Society and Station Authorities by fulfilling the demand and quality assurance given by KVS.
