Job Description
Teaching Assistants help accelerate the value of teaching and learning by providing active assistance to all the crucial process-level responsibilities.
They are concerned with how courses can be delivered to the students and managed most optimally and efficiently. They typically engage with Teachers and students and take care and contribute in tracking & communication responsibilities to ultimately establish an efficient eco-system of running the various courses and batches effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
Tracks and ensures deliveries of different artifacts and course material as per given timelines by and from different instructors
Keeps regular record of the dossier of different batches that includes
Students’ performance scores and data points
Conducts regular check-ins on progress for following
Weekly performance of students of various batches
Plans next steps for students as per the feedback (positive and negative)
Manages Learning Management System and ensures creation and upload of the following on it: Class Decks, Video Recordings, Assignments, Rubrics, Announcements
Conducts regular surveys with students to track their responses and suggestions for different courses and batches
Ensures timely email communication with students for different intents
Moderates the classes and manages permissions
Generates performance reports for students based on their performance
Assists students with their questions and doubts primarily and escalates them to relevant instructors when necessary
Manages different communication channels - batches
Required Skills/Experience
1-2 years of proven hands-on experience in course management and execution of different batches under an educational institution.
Ability to promptly take feedback and instruction and implement it.
Ability to monitor and analyze different ongoing batches and advice opportunities to simplify the process and track items effectively
Proficiency in documentation, tracking & conferencing tools - Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gantt Charts, Zoom
Knowledge of general teaching terminologies and processes such as cohorts, Q&A, workshops
Well organized, responsible, and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple teaching initiatives
Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.

Self Starter, able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team
Qualifications
Must have a formal degree in Bachelor in Education B.Ed. or Masters in the related field
Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential
2-3 years of experience in teaching and managing classes from 1st standard to 12th standard environment
