Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and dedicated Teaching Faculty member to join our academic team. The primary responsibility of the faculty member is to deliver high-quality education through effective teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic leadership. The role may be offered in various disciplines depending on institutional needs, including science, engineering, commerce, management, arts, humanities, or other professional courses.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Teaching and Instruction

Deliver subject-specific lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions as per the academic schedule.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and course outlines in alignment with the curriculum.

Use appropriate teaching methodologies, including digital tools, audiovisual aids, case studies, and interactive methods.

Encourage classroom participation, group discussions, and student engagement.
2. Curriculum and Content Development

Participate in curriculum planning and development in line with academic standards and industry trends.

Develop study materials, lab manuals, assignments, projects, and evaluation rubrics.

Keep content updated with recent advancements, case studies, and innovations in the subject area.
3. Student Mentoring and Academic Support

Provide academic guidance, counseling, and mentorship to students on performance and career planning.

Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, viva-voce, and feedback sessions.

Identify slow learners and offer remedial support and additional tutorials where necessary.

Assist students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
4. Assessment and Evaluation

Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and record grades as per institutional policies.

Maintain transparency and fairness in evaluations.

Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve.
5. Administrative and Academic Coordination

Participate in department meetings, academic committees, and institutional events.

Maintain class records, attendance, and academic performance data.

Coordinate with other faculty members and staff for smooth functioning of academic activities.

Support accreditation processes and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
6. Professional Development and Research (if applicable)

Engage in research activities, paper publication, or attend academic conferences and workshops.

Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and upgrade teaching methodologies.
