Job Description
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Staff to join our academy. The ideal candidates should be able to handle classes from 6th to 10th Standard with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Instruction

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons for students in grades 6 to 10, as per the academic curriculum.

Use appropriate teaching aids, technologies, and techniques to suit various learning styles.

Ensure lessons are aligned with prescribed syllabus and examination requirements (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or State Board).

Monitor student engagement and adjust lesson delivery accordingly to maximize understanding.
2. Subject Expertise

Demonstrate thorough knowledge in the assigned subject(s) and apply it effectively in teaching practices.

Break down complex concepts into simple, understandable formats for students.

Stay updated with current developments in subject matter and educational pedagogy.
3. Student Assessment & Feedback

Design assignments, quizzes, and test papers for periodic student evaluation.

Conduct fair, consistent, and timely assessments of student performance.

Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to track academic progress.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral performance.
4. Classroom Management

Create a disciplined, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Establish and enforce clear behavioral and academic expectations.

Manage classroom time efficiently to balance instruction, interaction, and evaluation.
5. Communication & Parent Interaction
-
Maintain regular communication with parents through meetings, written reports, or phone calls regarding student progress and concerns.

Attend parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and school events as required.

Collaborate with academic coordinators and colleagues to address student learning needs and behavioral concerns.
6. Curriculum and Lesson Planning

Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, and activity sheets aligned with academic objectives.

Participate in curriculum review and contribute to academic planning and improvements.

Support project-based learning, experiments, and co-curricular activities that enhance subject understanding.
7. Mentoring & Student Support

Act as a mentor and role model for students, supporting their emotional and academic growth.

Identify and support slow learners or students needing extra attention through remedial classes or individual guidance.

Promote discipline, ethical behavior, and a growth mindset among students.
8. Participation in School Activities

Support extracurricular, cultural, and sports activities as part of the overall student development program.

Participate in teacher training, workshops, and seminars organized by the academy.

Contribute to school administration or academic development activities as assigned.
