Job Description
We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Team Lead to oversee our production floor and end-to-end project coordination. This is a 'hands-on' role where you will be responsible for ensuring that designs are accurately converted into finished products, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining professional communication with our customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Oversight: Manage daily shop floor activities to ensure production targets are met on time and with high quality.
Design & Technicals: Create and review 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models using [mention software, e.g., SolidWorks/Fusion 360].
Vendor Management: Source materials, follow up with external vendors for processing, and manage local procurement.
Customer Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, timelines, and technical clarifications.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify bottlenecks in production and implement quick solutions.
Software: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D modeling software.
Communication: Fluent in English (for emails/customers) and Kannada (for floor staff/local vendors).
Leadership: Proven ability to lead a small team and take 'ownership' of tasks without constant supervision.
Multitasking: Ability to switch between office design work and shop floor supervision.
