Mentioned below is the Profile Description -

•  Overall responsible for implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems pertaining to ISO 17025 : 2017 (NABL), ISO 9001 along with fulfilling requirements of different regulatory authorities viz NABL, APEDA, BIS, FSSAI, EIC, MoEF and others.
•  To prepare, review and approve documentation for various regulatory bodies including Quality Management systems as per ISO 17025, ISO 9001.
•  Interpret, maintain, issue and implement quality assurance standards and all documents related to Quality Management systems as per ISO 17025, ISO 9001 and standards prescribed as per requirements of other regulatory authorities.
•  To review all laboratory related activities from sending quotations, sample receipt till dispatch of test certificates and ensure its compliance towards system. Responsible for entire Quality Assurance and maintaining complete audit trail.
•  Supervise and monitoring of daily lab activities – technical activities, administrative activities. To ensure correct performance of tests and release of test results.
  
•  Perform internal audits of the Laboratory, including both technical and quality systems audits and other quality assurance activities.
  
•  To face the audit – Internal, external (regulatory bodies) and customer audits
  
• To address complaints, non-conforming work and plan and undertake corrections along with Corrective, preventive actions and improvement. To Check effectiveness of corrections, Corrective, preventive actions taken along with ensuring implementation
•  Responsible for maintaining Good Laboratory Practices and overall good housekeeping in the laboratory
  
•  To arrange conduct internal trainings and assess / evaluate performance based on the trainings given. Authorize personnel for performing particular task.
•  To ensure and maintain timely calibration status and intermediate checks for all equipment, instruments, accessories, reference standards, reference materials.
•  To ensure availability and maintain Certified reference materials, Cultures and other required standards.
  
• To plan and conduct QC checks, Inter-laboratory comparison and identify participation in PT programme.
  
• To monitor , update and review performance of all staff members wrt Quality Management Systems and to ensure availability, completion of all documents, technical efficiency/competency at any point of time in the laboratory.
  
•  To check the test certificates/ reports that are being issued to customer thoroughly.
  
• To extend full co-operation to the higher authorities, management and other officials from Central laboratory as well as other Express laboratories.
• Perform Laboratory administrative duties.
• Responsible for overall running of the laboratory wrt Quality and its smooth functioning.
•  To visit to customer in case of major discrepancies or queries with prior permission obtained from Central laboratory.
