Technical Assistant-B (Civil) / Scientific Assistant-B (Electronics) [Trainee]/ Administrative Assistant(B) (Accounts)  job Position in National Centre for Radio Astrophysics - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR)

1. Technical Assistant-B (Civil)

No. of Post  :  1 [UR; HQ: Pune*]

Qualification : (a)SSC/HSC (b) Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (c) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications and familiar with AutoCAD software.

Minimum Experience :  1-2 years field experience in supervising building and  civil/structural construction and maintenance works. Should be familiar with tendering procedure, maintenance of work records, preparation of bills, etc.   Knowledge of works procedure (PWD/CPWD/MES) will be an added advantage.

Pay :  Pay Level 6; Pay Stage 1; TME : 51006

2. Scientific Assistant-B (Electronics) [Trainee]

No. of Post  :  1 [OBC; HQ: Khodad]

Qualification: (a) B.Sc. (Physics / Electronics) / Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical and Electronics) with minimum 60% marks. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.

Stipend :  Rs.16,000 pm. Successful training will lead to absorption, on probation, as Scientific Assistant-B in Pay Level 6; Pay Stage 1; TME : 43380.

Age Limit : 31 years and below (after relaxation).

3. Administrative Assistant(B) (Accounts) 

No. of Post  :  1 [ST; HQ:Pune]

Qualification :  (a)Graduate Degree in Commerce with minimum 55% marks. (b) Knowledge of typing and  use of personal computers and applications. especially MS Office, (c) Candidates with better typing skills may be given preference.

Minimum Experience: 5 years experience in Accounts in a large and reputed organisation. Experience in handling Cash and Audit related work.

Desirable :  Experience in preparing of various Audit Schedules, Receipt & Payment account, Balance Sheet. Master in handling of computers.

4. Laboratory Assistant-B (Computer)

Qualification: (i) SSC or equivalent (ii) ITI, (Electronics) with at least 60% marks.

Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in a reputed organization in computer and network maintenance.

Desirable : Experience in computer and network system trouble shooting.

5. Laboratory Assistant-B (Electronics)

Qualification: (i) SSC or equivalent (ii) ITI, (Electronics) with at least 60% marks.

Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in a reputed organization,  SMD soldering experience preferred.

6. Clerk(A)

Qualification: (a) Graduate with minimum 50% marks. (b) Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications. (c) Candidates with better typing skills may be given preference.

Minimum Experience: 1 year experience as Clerk in Administrative matters and correspondence in large and reputed organization.

Desirable : B.Com/B.A. with secretarial experience.  Drafting, typing, knowledge of shorthand, other administrative works, etc. in a large and reputed organisation.

7. Driver(B)

Qualification: (a) S.S.C. or Equivalent (b) Valid license for driving heavy motor vehicles.

Minimum Experience: 3 years of accident-free experience of driving heavy motor vehicles in large cities/highways.

Desirable: (a) Preliminary/primary knowledge of vehicle inspection, troubleshooting and minor repairs. (b) Bus batch

Physical Fitness : Height 165 cm. (b)Weight corresponding to height and age as per medical standards. (c) Chest 80-85 cm. (d) Normal eyesight and colour recognition (free from colour blindness).

Running Fitness Male Candidates. 100 meters in 16 seconds and 1.6 km in 6.50 mins for running test conducted on smooth and straight running tracks.

Running Fitness Female Candidates.100 meters in 18 seconds and 1.6 km in 8.50 mins for running tests conducted on smooth and straight running tracks
