Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and technically skilled Technical Assistant to provide support to our team. The Technical Assistant will work closely with senior engineers, managers, or technical experts to ensure smooth daily operations by assisting in data analysis, documentation, equipment setup, project coordination, and troubleshooting tasks. This role is critical in ensuring that technical processes and systems function efficiently, and it offers opportunities to learn and grow within a professional technical environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for technology, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Assistance:

Assist engineers, technicians, or specialists with technical tasks including data collection, system setup, testing, and diagnostics.

Support routine maintenance and configuration of equipment, hardware, and software.

Help in troubleshooting issues and providing first-level technical support to users or team members.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare, maintain, and organize technical documents such as manuals, project reports, logs, blueprints, or design drawings.

Assist in the drafting and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical specifications, and user guides.

Maintain accurate records of tests, measurements, system logs, and progress updates.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Collect and input technical data for analysis, simulations, or project tracking.

Use software tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or ERP systems) to compile and analyze data.

Generate charts, graphs, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Project Coordination:

Support project managers or technical leads by tracking project milestones, schedules, and deliverables.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely flow of technical information and materials.

Schedule and prepare for meetings, including compiling agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Inventory and Equipment Management:

Maintain and track technical equipment, tools, and materials.
-
Conduct periodic inventory checks, place orders for replacements, and ensure safe storage and use of equipment.

Ensure tools and systems comply with safety standards and company policies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Liaise with vendors, service providers, or external contractors regarding technical services or equipment support.

Collaborate with internal departments such as R&D, IT, production, or QA to support technical needs.

Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders, providing updates on progress and technical issues.
