Technical Assistant

Project Title  :  “Population Genomics and Mapping Signature of Natural Selection in Asian Seabass in India”

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Post Graduate in Fishery Science/Marine Sciences/Zoology with specialization in fisheries with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA/CGPA

Desirable : The candidate should have working knowledge of molecular biology techniques. Since this project requires exploratory surveys, the recruited person should be prepared for exploration (sometimes remote locations).

Emolument :  Rs. 25,000/- Per month fixed

Age Limit :  Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview (Relaxation as per govt. rule)

Young Professional-I (FHMD)

Project Title  :   'Short Term Technical Manpower Hired in ICAR Institute'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  1. Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent diploma in Fishery Science/any branch of Technology (Biological) 2. Ist division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in Intermediate & Graduation.

Desirable : Working Experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology will be preferred.

Emolument :  Rs. 15,000/- per month fixed

Age Limit :  21-45 years (age relation will be applicable as per govt. rules)

Young Professional-II

Project Title  :   'Network Project on Antimicrobial resistance in fisheries and Aquaculture'

Qualification : 1. Post-Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent diploma in Fishery Science/any branch of Technology (Biological). 2. Ist division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in Intermediate & Graduation.

Desirable : Working experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology will be preferred.

Young Professional-II

Project Title  :   “Establishing National Germplasm Repository and Museum at NBFGR as an Integrated Resource for AqGR research and societal Awareness, Component III: Information on Aquatic Genetic Information System on India”

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification :  1. Post graduate degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/Fisheries from prestigious national/international institute with minimum 50% marks.

Desirable : Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Zoology Experience in Fish Biology and Taxonomy. Working knowledge in computer and familiarity with GIS and Remote Sensing techniques.

Emolument :  Rs. 25,000/- per month fixed
