Immediate Fresher Hiring!!
Company : Scientific Publishing Services (P) Ltd. (An SPi Global Company)
Experience : 0 to 3 years (Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Designation : Technical Editor / Production Editor / Language Editor
Shift Timings : Ready to work in weekly Rotational shift timing
1st Shift : 6:00 A.M to 1:30 P.M.
2nd Shift : 1:30 P.M to 8:45 P.M.
(NO NIGHT SHIFTS)
Location : Chennai (Mylapore / Taramani)
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand the typesetting work flow.
- Understand the author/publishers requirements.
- Enhance author's text to improve the overall readability of research articles
- Eye for detail to identify poorly written text
- Rearranging sentences and paragraphs
- Serve as an internal resource for the Production and Editorial departments.
- Ensure high quality deliverable within the agreed time span.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Effective English communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Sound knowledge in Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Can contribute to team's growth and be a good team player
- People with prior work experience in the same domain are also welcome.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
Graduates / Post Graduates in Science / Mathematics / English (Graduated between 2016-2019 with a final aggregate mark of at least 55%)
