6. Essential :- Ph.D in Agrometeorology OR
ii. Masters degree in Agrometeorology from an accredited University alongwith National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by India Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR)/ University Grants Commission (UGC)/ Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) like State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/ State Eligibility Test (SET).
7. Desirable :- Ph.D in Agronomy/ Meteorology/ Agriculture Physics OR
i. Masters degree in Agronomy/Meteorology/Agriculture Physics from an accredited University alongwith National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by India Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR)/ University Grants Commission (UGC)/ Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) like State Level Eligibility Test (SUET)/ State Eligibility Test (SET). Preference will be given to the candidate who has experience of working in GKMS.
