Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle of press brake tooling products. This includes generating new leads, preparing quotations, conducting client meetings, executing orders, and providing technical support during and after the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical/production engineering, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a field-sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:

Promote and sell press brake tooling products to industrial clients and manufacturers

Understand client requirements and recommend suitable tooling solutions

Generate new leads through cold calls, industry networking, trade exhibitions, or references

Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations based on product configuration and client needs

Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain regular follow-ups with clients
Client Relationship Management:

Meet with existing and potential clients to explain product benefits, usage, and customization

Handle technical discussions and support during pre- and post-sales stages

Maintain long-term relationships with customers and distributors

Manage client queries, complaints, and feedback effectively
Order Processing & Coordination:

Coordinate internally with the operations and dispatch teams for timely order execution

Track project deliveries and installation timelines

Ensure accurate documentation, including PO follow-ups, delivery challans, and payment tracking
Field Visits & Reporting:
-
Conduct regular field visits to client sites, workshops, and fabrication units

Create visit reports and keep the sales CRM or tracker updated

Analyze sales data, competitor activity, and market trends
Key Skills:

Strong technical understanding of press brake machines, dies, punches, and sheet metal processes

Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Ability to prepare accurate quotations and understand engineering drawings (preferred)

Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel for client visits

Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), email communication, and basic CRM tools
