Job Description
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets for UPS solutions.
- Identify and prospect potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate and close sales deals in line with company guidelines and policies.
- Track and report on sales activities, including pipeline and forecasts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on sales and promotional activities.
- Understand client power requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide technical and product support to customers and address their inquiries.
- Recommend suitable UPS systems and configurations based on client needs.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and compliance documents.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal UPS solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to customize solutions when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Educate customers on the features, benefits, and operation of UPS systems.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.
- Build trust and rapport with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., service, support, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, power electronics, battery backup solutions, and power distribution.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for technical troubleshooting.
- Sales and Business Skills:
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the UPS or power supply industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Customer-oriented approach with a focus on building relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive for success.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
