Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Support

Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.

Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and technical proposals.

Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.
-
Explain product features, specifications, and system compatibility to clients.

Assist in evaluating and qualifying leads based on technical feasibility and customer needs.
2. Customer Interaction
-
Communicate with potential and existing customers via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings.

Address product-related inquiries and provide consultative solutions to customers.

Understand customer challenges and suggest the right mix of products or customizations.
3. Coordination and Documentation
-
Liaise with the product, engineering, and sales departments to prepare quotes and technical documentation.

Create and maintain updated product datasheets, brochures, and technical support materials.
-
Document client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to suggest product improvements.
4. Post-Sales Support
-
Provide technical assistance during the installation or onboarding phase.

Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation by sharing accurate client expectations.

Resolve customer issues by coordinating with the support or engineering team.
-
Conduct training or product walkthroughs for end users, if required.
5. Market & Product Knowledge

Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological developments.

Assist in competitive analysis and technical benchmarking of products.

Identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling based on customer profiles and feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Science, or a related technical field.

1–3+ years of experience in technical support, pre-sales, or technical sales roles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to understand complex technical products and explain them in a simplified way.
-
Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
-
Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first attitude.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot is a plus.
