Job Description

Technical Trainer for Product Security

Banglore

Responsibilities:

Maintain familiarity with organizational security policies and standards
Advise product teams on alternative or compensating controls as needed
Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
Ability to train via both virtual and classroom venues
Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
Implement an effective training curriculum.
Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
Train and guide engineers and software development employees.

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Information Security or related field, or relevant industry knowledge and experience.
A minimum of 2 years in software development with Java or C++ (both languages a plus).
Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent English capabilities (both speaking and reading / writing).
Strong Chinese capabilities (both speaking and reading / writing) a plus.
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position.
A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as Secure Development Trainer.
Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, NIST
Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, etc. a plus
Experience with security audits a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Share Point

Personal Characteristics:

Oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that is understandable for non-technical audiences
Ability to collaborate with technical and project teams across multiple business functions
Problem solving and analytical ability
Strategic thinking and relationship management
Skilled in time management and coordinating multiple priorities
Skilled in planning, problem solving, analysis, collaboration, and communication
Ability to travel up to 50%
