Job Description
MAHA-Metro is inviting applications from Indian Nationals for the following Non-Supervisory posts for Operation and Maintenance (O & M) department of Pune Metro Rail Project on regular basis. The details along with the required eligibility criteria is mentioned below against each post.
1. Name of Post (Post Code): Technician (Electrical)- NS3
ii. Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 20,000- 60,000/-
iii. No. of Vacancies including reserved categories: 23 (UR-12 SC-02 ST-01 OBC-06 EWS-02 Including 02 exservicemen)
iv. Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) course in Electrical Wireman Electrician trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute.
v. Requirement of Domicile & Knowledge of Marathi Language: Should be Domicile of Maharashtra state and having knowledge of Marathi Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
2. Name of Post (Post Code): Technician (Fitter)-NS3
ii. Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 20,000- 60,000/-
iii. No. of Vacancies including reserved categories: 13 (UR-07 SC-01 ST-01 OBC-03 EWS-01 Including 01 exserviceman)
iv. Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in Fitter trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute.
v. Requirement of Domicile & Knowledge of Marathi Language: Should be Domicile of Maharashtra state and having knowledge of Marathi Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
3. Name of Post (Post Code): Technician (Civil)-NS3
ii. Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 20,000- 60,000/-
iii. No. of Vacancies including reserved categories: 02
iv. Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in Mason (Building Constructor) trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute. ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in Plumber trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute
v. Requirement of Domicile & Knowledge of Marathi Language: Should be Domicile of Maharashtra state and having knowledge of Marathi Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)

ii. Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 20,000- 60,000/-
iii. No. of Vacancies including reserved categories: 13 (UR-07 SC-01 ST-01 OBC-03 EWS-01 Including 01 exserviceman
iv. Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) course in Electronics /Electronics Mechanic trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute.
v. Requirement of Domicile & Knowledge of Marathi Language: Should be Domicile of Maharashtra state and having knowledge of Marathi Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
5. Name of Post (Post Code): Technician (AC & Refrigeration)- NS3
ii. Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 20,000- 60,000/-
iii. No. of Vacancies including reserved categories: 02 (UR-02)
iv. Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) course in Mechanic Refrigerator and Air Conditioner/ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade from a Govt. recognized Board/University/ Institute.
v. Requirement of Domicile & Knowledge of Marathi Language: Should be Domicile of Maharashtra state and having knowledge of Marathi Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
6. Minimum Educational Qualification:
SSC pass with ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute in Electrical/Fitter/Mason/Plumber/Electronics/Electronics Mechanic/AC & Refrigeration Trades. Working knowledge of Marathi Language is compulsory. This will be subjected to verification before selection
7. Job Profile:
The job of Technician Electrical/Fitter/Mason/Plumber/Electronics/AC & Refrigeration) is inter-changeable in nature as per the requirement of the Corporation and it includes Maintenance of Coaches, tracks and other equipment in shift duty including night shift. The Job requires highest standard of medical fitness, including naked vision of 6/12, the details of which are also available at MAHA-Metro website www.punemetrorail.org. So, the candidates meeting the required medical standard may only apply

Application Fees:
UR, OBC & EWS (including Ex-servicemen) candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs. 400/- (excluding of bank charges plus service tax) and SC/ST, Women candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 150/- (for processing fee only, excluding of bank charges plus service tax) for each post
