Qualification  :  SSC / Matriculation with regular ITI (Electrician) with NCVT Certificate. Ex-Servicemen with equivalent qualification are eligible

Experience :  Should have post-qualification experience of Three (3) years for UR/OBC candidates, and Two and Half (2 ½) years for SC candidates in repair, jointing and termination of HV and LV cables. Technician (Cable Jointer) should have experience in following areas, Carrying out different types of straight through and end terminations of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) / Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) / Paper Insulated (PILC) flexible cable – HT, LT and Control grid.  Laying and dressing of HT, LT and control cables,  Familiar with relevant IE Rules and shut down procedures, Ability to study cable route drawings and other electrical schematics, Knowledge of operation / maintenance of transformers, switchgears, motors, control circuits and other auxiliary equipment of power distribution system is desirable

Salary :  For the post of Technician (Cable Jointer) (S-3 Grade): Candidates selected for the post of Technician (Cable Jointer) shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.16,800-3%-24,110/-(Pay scale under revision w.e.f. 01/01/2017). The emoluments will include Basic Pay and Industrial Dearness Allowance, reimbursement of Local Travelling Expenses and other facilities such as Medical Facility for self and family, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, LTC/LTA etc. as per rules of the Company. House Rent Allowance will be paid only where Company accommodation is not available.

Age Limit :  UR - 30 years OBC - 33 years SC - 35 years

Application Fees : Processing fee of Rs. 590/- (Including GST @18%) for UR & OBC candidates and Processing fee of Rs. 295/- (Including GST @ 18%) for SC candidates

Selection Procedure :   1. Selection will be through Online Test, Certificate Verification & Skill Test/Trade Test, of qualifying nature, conducted at Visakhapatnam. Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Eligible Candidates for the above post will be required to appear in Online Test. Candidates who qualify in the Online Test will be called for Certificate Verification in the ratio of 1:3. Only the candidates found meeting the eligibility criteria, verified during Certificate Verification, will be allowed for Skill Test/ Trade Test. The Skill Test/Trade Test will be only qualifying in nature and the final merit list of candidates who qualify the Skill Test / Trade Test will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 2. Online test Pattern: Test will consist two segments and duration of the test will be 2 hours: a. Segment-I: 75 Questions pertaining to General Aptitude (i.e Arithmetic, Reasoning, Data interpretation etc.), General Awareness / General Knowledge and knowledge of English, b.Segment-II: 75 Questions pertaining to Electrical discipline.
