Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machinery Operation

Operate Production Machinery: Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing of automobile components or vehicles, ensuring machines run efficiently and produce parts within specifications.

Adjust Settings: Adjust machine settings and controls to ensure proper production and quality of automotive parts.

Monitor Production Flow: Continuously monitor the production process to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
-
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal performance and reduce downtime.

Identify Issues: Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues related to machinery, equipment malfunctions, or performance problems to minimize production delays.

Repair & Replace Parts: Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or machinery when necessary to ensure the continuity of production operations.
3. Safety and Compliance

Follow Safety Guidelines: Ensure that all equipment is operated in compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and following emergency shutdown procedures as necessary.

Machine Calibration: Ensure that machines are calibrated correctly to meet safety standards and production quality requirements.
4. Production Targets and Quality Control

Meet Production Targets: Work towards achieving daily and weekly production targets, ensuring that the output is aligned with the company’s goals.

Quality Standards: Monitor production quality and ensure that parts produced meet all company and industry standards, adhering to quality checks and guidelines.

Report Defects: Report any defective or non-conforming parts or processes to supervisors or quality control personnel, ensuring that corrective actions are taken.
5. Collaboration and Communication

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth production operations and to address any technical issues or needs.

Instruction Adherence: Follow the instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors or senior personnel for machinery operation, safety protocols, and production tasks.

Report Machine Performance: Provide feedback to management regarding machine performance, maintenance needs, and improvements in the manufacturing process.
6. Documentation and Reporting

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, production logs, machine performance, and any incidents or issues that arise during production.

Compliance Reporting: Ensure all compliance and quality-related documentation is completed on time and in accordance with company policy.
