Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, smoke sensors, manual call points (MCP), sounders, and other related safety and security systems. The role also involves working on additional products such as nurse call systems, EPABX systems, and CCTV installations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and a willingness to work on-site at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Commissioning
-
Install, configure, and commission fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, MCPs, sounders, and related devices.

Handle wiring, cabling, and device integration as per design and safety standards.

Perform site surveys to determine installation requirements and equipment placement.

Conduct testing and verification of newly installed systems to ensure proper functioning.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire alarm systems, CCTV cameras, nurse call systems, and EPABX.

Replace defective components and perform firmware or software updates when necessary.

Ensure all systems meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
3. Technical Support

Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to clients and internal teams.

Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues.

Assist in preparing service reports, maintenance logs, and installation documentation.
4. Project Execution

Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of installations.

Work closely with senior engineers during commissioning and handover phases.

Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines during site execution.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
-
Hands-on experience with fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, sounders, and associated accessories.

Knowledge of CCTV installations, nurse call systems, EPABX setups, and networking basics.

Familiarity with electrical wiring, panel testing, and control systems.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
