Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technician with hands-on experience in Aquaguard and water purifier installation, servicing, and repair. The technician will be responsible for visiting customer locations to carry out routine servicing, handle repair requests, install new machines, sell AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) packages, change filters and spare parts, and ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
This role demands technical proficiency, the ability to work independently in the field, and excellent customer handling skills. The ideal candidate will also be involved in promoting product upgrades and maintaining detailed service records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation of Aquaguard / Water Purifiers

Perform installation of Aquaguard or similar RO/UV water purifiers at customer sites.

Ensure proper placement, secure fitting, and testing of the unit after installation.

Educate the customer on the basic operation, maintenance, and safety instructions of the installed unit.
2. Routine Servicing and Maintenance
-
Conduct scheduled periodic maintenance visits as per AMC terms or customer requests.

Clean internal components, filters, and outer body of the machine.

Perform general service checks including TDS testing, water flow, pressure regulation, etc.

Ensure proper documentation of service visits, including service checklist and customer signature.
3. Repairs and Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with Aquaguard/RO units, including low water flow, leakage, noise, or no power.

Replace or repair faulty components such as motors, valves, switches, or electrical parts.

Use appropriate tools and safety procedures during repair work.
4. Filter and Spare Parts Replacement
-
Replace filters, membranes, and cartridges as per the product's service schedule or water quality conditions.

Carry inventory of spare parts and consumables; update stock usage and notify for replenishment.
5. Customer Call Handling
-
Attend customer service calls efficiently, either assigned via the call center, app, or company portal.

Maintain clear communication with customers regarding visit time, job status, and additional charges (if any).

Provide courteous and respectful service during all customer interactions.
6. AMC and Product Sales
-
Explain the benefits of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) to customers and close AMC deals.

Promote sales of new Aquaguard units, water purifiers, or upgrade models during visits.

Inform customers about current offers, service plans, and available accessories.
7. Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management

Ensure all customer queries and concerns are resolved promptly.

Obtain feedback after service and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.

Address complaints or escalation professionally and coordinate with the office team if needed.
8. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of all service visits, sales, complaints handled, and spare part usage.

Use mobile apps or forms to record daily work and update service logs.

Submit daily or weekly reports to the service manager as required.
Required Qualifications

Education:
-
Minimum: 10th Pass or ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Plumbing.

Preferred: Vocational training in water purifier servicing or appliance repair.

Experience:

Prefer experience in Aquaguard / RO service, installation, or related field.

Freshers with good learning ability and fieldwork interest can also apply.
