Job Description
* Installations of RFID application to our client.
* Provide service and support on the RFID application.
* Ready to travel to customer site within Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup of RFID Systems:
-
Install RFID hardware components, including readers, antennas, tags, and controllers, at client locations according to design specifications.

Set up the associated software and network infrastructure to ensure RFID systems are fully functional.

Conduct system testing and configuration to verify proper system operation.
-
Coordinate with clients to ensure minimal disruption during installation and ensure the system is installed according to project timelines.
2. Client Site Support and Maintenance:
-
Provide on-site support for the installation and configuration of RFID systems, ensuring they are fully integrated into the client’s existing infrastructure.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on RFID systems to ensure they operate without disruption.

Update system configurations, firmware, and software to optimize performance.
-
Troubleshoot any issues related to hardware (e.g., RFID readers, tags) and software to ensure a seamless client experience.
-
Monitor the system’s performance and recommend improvements based on client feedback or observed system behavior.
3. System Calibration and Testing:
-
Perform calibration of RFID readers, antennas, and tags to ensure proper functionality and accuracy of data capture.
-
Test RFID systems to verify that they meet client requirements and expectations.
-
Ensure RFID tags are correctly programmed and attached to assets for effective tracking.

Conduct stress tests and reliability testing of RFID systems under various environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity).
4. Client Training and Knowledge Transfer:

Provide hands-on training to clients and their staff on how to use RFID systems effectively, ensuring they understand the system's functionality and benefits.

Create or update user manuals and technical documentation for client reference.

Offer technical advice on RFID system best practices, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Assist clients in the development of operational procedures related to RFID technology, ensuring smooth daily usage.
5. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Respond to client inquiries and issues related to the RFID system in a timely and professional manner.

Diagnose system failures, identify causes, and implement corrective actions to restore system functionality.

Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve more complex issues or escalate problems that require advanced expertise.
-
Maintain detailed records of support requests, solutions provided, and any maintenance performed.
6. System Upgrades and Customizations:

Assist clients in upgrading or enhancing their RFID systems by integrating new hardware, software, or functionalities.
-
Customize RFID systems to meet specific client needs, such as integrating with other systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) or adding additional hardware components.
-
Ensure smooth implementation of system upgrades with minimal disruption to clients' operations.
7. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting records, including client interactions, systems deployed, and services provided.
-
Document system configurations, customizations, and any deviations from standard setups.
-
Prepare regular reports on system performance and the status of ongoing projects or service requests.
8. Safety and Compliance:
-
Ensure that all installations and services are compliant with safety regulations and industry standards.

Follow best practices for installing and maintaining RFID equipment to ensure the safety of both the technician and the client’s operations.

Ensure the proper disposal of old or non-functional equipment, following environmental and safety guidelines.
