Job Description
They’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts, developing new business, coordinating with R&D or application teams for technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires both technical knowledge and sales experience, ideally someone who can handle both aspects confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities in assigned regions or industries.

Generate leads through cold calls, industry visits, email campaigns, exhibitions, and digital platforms.

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking and follow-ups.
2. Client Consultation & Technical Understanding

Understand client requirements in detail, including project specifications, application needs, and site conditions.

Offer technical consultations on product features, compatibility, benefits, and solutions.

Serve as a liaison between the client and the internal technical team to ensure solution fit.
3. Product Demonstration & Proposal Making

Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical discussions (online or on-site).

Prepare customized technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responses.

Assist in solution design and product configuration based on customer inputs.
4. Sales Closure & Negotiation

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with customers while protecting company interests.

Close deals efficiently by aligning technical solutions with commercial expectations.

Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for smooth post-sale execution.
5. Account Management & Customer Support

Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business.

Act as the first point of contact for any technical queries, issues, or escalations post-sale.

Conduct regular site visits or review meetings with clients for project updates and feedback.
6. Market Research & Reporting

Track market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.

Submit weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and funnel updates to management.

Provide feedback to product or R&D teams based on client needs and gaps in the market.
Required Skills:

Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in layman’s terms

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in proposal writing, quotation building, and product documentation

Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Familiarity with CRM software, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic business tools

Good command over English and local language (spoken and written)
