Role Designation: Technology Analyst

Responsibilities:

Look for a best solution within given constraints. Be open to learn,
Customer / User facing experience,
Should have Knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, FIS, IRS/CCS, Equities/Mutual Funds from the Operations side (like accounting, SWIFT, Simple Market Risk, Audit controls),
Good to have an understanding of Derivatives, VaR,
Should have worked or been part of a Finacle Treasury implementation or a similar solution,
Map the user requirement and recommend a solution or find a solution for a GAP.,
Look for a best solution within given constraints,
Experience in Treasury department of a bank or close interaction with bank’s treasury department as clients,
Understand technical things like architecture, databases, how a program is written.
Should be able to understand technical aspect of the solutio.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering/Technology is required.
Master’s degree in Engineering/technology is an added advantage,
Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology,
Readiness to travel to client site for short, medium and long term,
Write SQL queries, SQL Packages, Scripts, Cronjob setup.
Should understand and suggest solutions like query tuning and others,
Exposure to Treasury products like Murex, Calypso, Opics, Kondor/Kondor+, Summit, Sunguard, Reval will be added advantage,
Discuss the functional customization with BA and bank and discuss the solution and limitations,
Read logs and analyze the issues.Good knowledge of Unix and its flavors like LINUX, SUN, AIX,
Good knowledge of technical things like architecture, databases, how a program is written,
Understand technical things network, Bandwidth, FTP,
Good understanding of a programming language like Java, C++.
Should have worked or been part of an implementation.
