Designation - Horticulture Officer

Number of Vacancies - 22

Educational Qualifications as specified in the Service Rules of the department

Must possess a Degree in Horticulture of a recognized University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Provided that M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture would be considered for appointment if candidates having a degree in Horticulture are not available.
Provided that in case of SC/ST vacancies if the candidates with B.Sc. Degree qualifications in Horticulture are not available, the candidates with B.Sc. Degree qualifications in Agriculture shall become eligible.

Age Limit

The candidates should possess the Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44 years.
The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2022 (Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).

Selection Process

The Selection of Candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by Written Examination (Objective Type) by CBRT/ OMR Based and the Selection for the posts will be based on marks secured in the written examination.

Pay Scale

Candidates will get consolidated remuneration of Rs 51,320- 1,27,310 per month.
