Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Calling

Make outbound calls to prospective customers using provided leads or cold call lists.

Explain products and services to customers clearly and effectively over the phone.

Understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and offer suitable solutions.

Follow a structured script or sales pitch, while customizing the conversation based on the customer’s responses and profile.
2. Lead Conversion and Revenue Generation

Convert inquiries and leads into confirmed sales.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the management.

Upsell or cross-sell products where appropriate to increase the value of each customer interaction.

Track and follow up on potential leads and convert them into repeat business.
3. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.

Address customer questions, objections, or concerns with patience and professionalism.

Maintain regular contact with existing customers to nurture loyalty and encourage repeat purchases.

Ensure customer data is updated in the CRM system accurately and consistently.
4. Product Knowledge

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services.

Stay updated on any new promotions, features, pricing changes, or competitor offerings.

Communicate product benefits and features in a persuasive and informed manner.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting

Log all calls, sales, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the system.

Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager or Team Leader.

Track call performance metrics such as conversion rates, call duration, and number of calls made.
6. Team Collaboration and Feedback

Participate in team meetings, sales training, and performance reviews.

Share feedback and insights on customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity.

Work closely with other departments such as marketing and customer support to improve customer acquisition and retention strategies.
