Job Description
The Telecaller is responsible for working closely in line with the company Mktg. & Sales Strategy performing functions including, but not limited to:
- Identify, generate and qualify leads from various sources, contacting potential or existing customers to promote services using well-adjusted sales scripts
- Generate interest, provide information, handle objections and factor customer feedback to create sales opportunities on telephone
- Ask questions to understand customer needs / requirements and close sales
- Answer questions about the company or its services
- Schedule appointments to direct prospects to the field sales team based on their schedules
- Manage, track and follow up on prospects through calls and mails
- Support and advise potential or existing customers by answering incoming calls
- Enter & update customer information in the database by completing forms & record logs
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner; maintain computer, telephone and other equipment
- Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation and if needed, escalate to team leader
- Go the 'extra mile' to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Create, update and maintain records of calls, sales, activity reports and other useful information for future follow ups
- Measure, prepare & present achievements and identified KPIs as and when needed
- Meet company expectations for excellent customer service, patience & professionalism at all times
- Maintain and improve skills & knowledge by participating in regular training & development sessions
- Computer Skills: Basic Computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, etc.) will be a plus.
- Soft skills: Good Business Communication skills (written & verbal), Good Selling & Presentation skills, Result-orientated, Patient, Persistent & Ability to handle Customer Rejections, Honest & Hardworking, Flexible, Open to Feedback
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets for similar industry/solutions will be a massive advantage.
- Computer Skills: Basic Computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, etc.) will be a plus.
