Job Overview:
A Telecaller is responsible for making outbound or receiving inbound calls to promote products or services, generate leads, or provide customer support. The role involves communicating effectively with customers, understanding their needs, and persuading them to take desired actions such as purchasing, subscribing, or scheduling appointments. A Telecaller serves as the voice of the company, creating positive customer experiences and helping achieve business goals.- Handle customer's inbound and outbound calls. Solving queries, telling them about products/offers/services
- Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensible way
- Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound Calling:

Contact potential or existing customers to introduce products, services, or offers.

Follow predefined scripts or guidelines to ensure consistent and professional communication.

Identify customer needs and provide relevant information to encourage sales or engagement.

Inbound Calling:

Respond to incoming calls professionally, addressing customer queries, complaints, or requests.

Provide accurate information and resolve issues or direct calls to the appropriate department.

Lead Generation and Qualification:

Generate leads by engaging prospects and collecting necessary information.

Qualify leads by assessing customer interest and readiness to purchase.

Appointment Scheduling:

Arrange appointments or follow-up calls for the sales or service teams.

Maintain clear communication with customers regarding scheduled meetings or calls.

Database Management:

Update customer records and call logs accurately in the CRM or tracking system.

Track call outcomes and follow-up activities to maintain an organized workflow.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build rapport with customers to foster trust and loyalty.

Handle objections tactfully and work towards satisfactory solutions.

Reporting and Feedback:

Provide regular reports on call volumes, outcomes, and customer feedback to supervisors.

Suggest improvements in calling scripts or processes based on customer interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Clear and pleasant phone voice.

Ability to follow scripts and guidelines effectively.

Patience, persistence, and ability to handle rejection positively.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.

Target-driven with good time management abilities.

Previous telecalling or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
