Job Description

Telecalling involves contacting customers or prospects via phone to:
1. Gather information
2. Conduct surveys
3. Provide customer support
4. Follow up on inquiries
5. Collect feedback

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Calling

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective or existing customers using a predefined script or sales pitch.

  • Contact individuals from databases, marketing lists, or leads generated by campaigns and inquiries.

  • Introduce and explain the company’s products, services, offers, or promotions in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.

2. Lead Generation and Conversion

  • Identify and qualify leads based on specific criteria such as interest level, purchasing power, or product relevance.

  • Encourage prospects to take the next steps, such as scheduling a consultation, making a purchase, signing up for a demo, or visiting the store/office.

  • Follow up with potential customers who have shown interest but not yet converted.

3. Customer Interaction and Relationship Building

  • Maintain a polite, professional, and friendly tone with all customers during every interaction.

  • Build rapport and trust through active listening and empathetic communication.

  • Handle inquiries, provide relevant information, and resolve basic customer issues or objections.

4. CRM and Data Management

  • Record and update customer information, call outcomes, and feedback accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or spreadsheets.

  • Track call activity, lead progress, and follow-up schedules.

  • Maintain call logs and submit daily/weekly performance reports to supervisors.

5. Feedback and Collaboration

  • Relay customer feedback and insights to sales, marketing, or customer support teams for improvement in processes or offerings.

  • Collaborate with team members to strategize on campaign improvements or sales tactics.

  • Participate in meetings, product training, and skill development programs regularly.

6. Compliance and Professional Conduct

  • Follow company policies, ethical standards, and data protection regulations during all customer interactions.

  • Avoid aggressive or misleading tactics; maintain transparency and honesty in communication.

  • Ensure that calls are conducted respectfully and that customer preferences (e.g., do-not-call requests) are honored.
