Job Summary:
The Telecaller is responsible for making outbound and receiving inbound calls to and from customers, prospects, or clients to promote products, generate leads, follow up on inquiries, or provide support and assistance. This role is crucial in building and maintaining positive customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the company's growth.
A Telecaller must be an excellent communicator, persuasive, and able to handle rejection professionally. The ideal candidate should be patient, organized, confident, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling

Make a high volume of daily outbound calls to potential customers using a prepared script or pitch.

Explain the features, advantages, and benefits of the company’s products or services clearly and convincingly.

Generate interest, qualify leads, and schedule follow-up calls or appointments.

Update and maintain call records in the CRM or call management software.
2. Inbound Call Handling

Receive calls from customers or prospects and respond to inquiries about products, services, offers, or issues.

Provide accurate information, resolve basic complaints, and escalate complex queries to the relevant departments.

Ensure a polite, helpful, and professional tone throughout all interactions.
3. Lead Generation and Conversion

Identify potential customers and understand their needs and preferences.

Encourage prospects to make purchases or subscribe to services by presenting appropriate solutions.

Achieve or exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales or call targets.

Maintain a strong conversion rate by closing leads effectively.
4. Follow-up and Customer Retention

Follow up on previous interactions, quotations, or promotional campaigns.

Remind customers about renewals, pending payments, or upcoming offers.

Maintain long-term relationships by offering excellent after-sales service.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the database.

Log all call details, outcomes, and follow-up actions.

Prepare daily or weekly call reports and submit them to the supervisor.
6. Team Coordination and Collaboration

Coordinate with sales, marketing, customer service, or operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and call handling techniques.

Share feedback from customers to help improve products, services, and processes.
