Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling:

Make outbound calls to potential donors from leads or contact lists provided by the NGO.

Educate potential donors about the NGO’s work, mission, and the impact of their contributions.

Engage in meaningful conversations to understand the donor’s interests and motivations for supporting social causes.
Donation Solicitation:

Persuasively request financial donations or commitments from individuals to support specific projects or general operations.

Offer different donation options such as one-time donations, recurring monthly donations, or event sponsorships.

Encourage donors to choose the best option based on their preferences and capacity to contribute.
Donor Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong, respectful relationships with donors through regular follow-ups and personalized communication.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing donor queries, concerns, and processing donation-related requests.

Ensure that donors receive appropriate acknowledgment and appreciation for their contributions.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:

Accurately record donor information, donations, and interaction details in the NGO’s CRM or database.

Update donor records regularly, including donations, contact preferences, and follow-up schedules.

Ensure all donations are properly processed and tracked, providing the necessary documentation for tax purposes if required.
Campaign and Event Promotion:

Promote upcoming fundraising campaigns, events, or initiatives to potential and existing donors.

Encourage participation in NGO events and activities to increase donor engagement and awareness of the NGO’s work.
Feedback and Reporting:

Report to team leaders or managers on daily, weekly, or monthly performance metrics such as calls made, donations secured, and donor feedback.

Gather feedback from donors and provide insights to help improve fundraising strategies and communication approaches.

Ensure that fundraising goals and targets are met consistently by actively driving donor engagement and support.
Compliance and Ethical Practices:

Adhere to ethical standards and best practices for soliciting donations.

Follow all applicable regulations and guidelines related to fundraising, data protection, and donor privacy.

Ensure transparency and honesty while discussing the NGO’s financial needs and use of donations.
