Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring dedicated and result-oriented Telecallers to join our collections team handling leading Banks and NBFCs. The primary responsibility is to contact customers with overdue payments, communicate payment details clearly and professionally, and recover outstanding dues efficiently.
Both DRA Certified and Non-DRA Certified candidates can apply, with a preference for those holding DRA Certification. Freshers are welcome, offering a great opportunity to start a career in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Outreach and Follow-up:

Contact customers with payment defaults through phone calls as per the assigned portfolio.

Explain outstanding balances, payment options, and consequences of non-payment clearly and empathetically.

Maintain a polite and professional tone to facilitate successful collection discussions.
2. Payment Recovery:
-
Convince customers to clear outstanding dues either in full or through structured repayment plans.

Negotiate repayment schedules as per company guidelines and customer capacity.

Update collection status and payment promises accurately in the system after every interaction.
3. Documentation and Reporting:

Record call details, customer feedback, and payment commitments promptly in the CRM or collection software.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection progress and challenges faced.

Escalate unresolved cases or disputes to the supervisor or legal team when necessary.
4. Compliance and Quality:

Follow the legal and ethical guidelines laid down by Banks, NBFCs, and regulatory bodies for debt collection.

Ensure compliance with DRA (Debt Recovery Agents) rules if certified.

Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
5. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with team leads, supervisors, and other collection agents to meet team targets.

Participate in training sessions and update knowledge on latest collection techniques and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Certification:
-
DRA Certified candidates preferred as per RBI guidelines for Debt Recovery Agents.

Non-DRA candidates may also apply but should be willing to undergo certification if required.
Communication Skills:
-
Excellent verbal communication skills in English and local languages (based on location, e.g., Hindi, Telugu, Kannada).

Ability to handle tough conversations with patience, tact, and empathy.
Interpersonal Skills:

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

Ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
Technical Skills:
-
Basic computer knowledge to operate CRM, telephony software, and MS Office.

Comfortable with data entry and record-keeping.
