Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and confident Telecaller to join our team. The Telecaller will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about our products or services, generate leads, and support the sales team. This role plays a vital part in customer engagement, lead generation, and brand communication.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a pleasant speaking voice, and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone. Experience in telemarketing or customer support is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Calling

Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective or existing customers.

Explain the company's products or services clearly and persuasively.

Follow a prepared script when necessary but personalize interactions based on customer responses.

Convince customers to take desired actions (book appointments, request demos, make a purchase, etc.).
2. Lead Generation & Follow-Up

Identify and qualify leads based on provided criteria.

Maintain a detailed record of all calls, responses, and follow-ups using CRM or calling software.

Schedule appointments for field sales representatives or further discussions as required.

Follow up with interested leads regularly to convert them into potential customers.
3. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

Build and maintain good customer relationships by providing accurate information and a positive calling experience.

Answer questions about products or the company.

Handle customer queries or redirect them to the appropriate department.

Ensure customer satisfaction and collect feedback where appropriate.
4. Data Management

Update customer database and call records regularly and accurately.

Report daily, weekly, and monthly calling performance and conversion statistics to team leaders or managers.

Flag any issues, objections, or customer concerns to the team for review.
5. Target Achievement

Work toward achieving individual and team call and conversion targets.

Adapt to changes in product offerings, campaigns, or sales approaches as guided by management.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Requirements
-
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Key Skills
-
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

Fluent in [insert relevant languages, e.g., English, Hindi, or regional languages].

Ability to handle rejection and remain confident and friendly on calls.

Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.

Familiarity with CRM software or telecalling tools is a plus.
