Job Description

1. Patient Communication & Enquiry Handling
  • Handle inbound calls related to appointments, doctor availability, services, and procedures.

  • Respond to patient queries politely and provide accurate information.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

2. Outbound Calls
  • Make follow-up calls to patients for consultations, reviews, health check-up reminders, and pending reports.

  • Call and convert enquiries into appointments or service bookings.

  • Contact patients for feedback after service.

3. Appointment & Coordination
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with OPD/Consultants.

  • Update patient information accurately in the HMS/CRM software.

  • Communicate rescheduling or doctor unavailability to patients promptly.

4. Service Promotion (Revenue-focused)
  • Promote hospital services, packages, screenings, and health check-up camps.

  • Achieve daily/weekly call targets and conversion targets.

  • Upsell relevant healthcare services (lab tests, scans, packages) when appropriate.

5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain call logs, enquiry registers, and follow-up sheets.

  • Share daily call reports with Telecalling Supervisor/CRM Manager.

  • Ensure confidentiality and data privacy of patient information.

6. Patient Experience & Support
  • Handle complaints professionally and escalate to the right department.

  • Guide patients regarding insurance, billing queries, and basic hospital processes.

  • Ensure smooth communication between patient and departments (Doctor, Lab, Radiology, etc.)

Required Skills
  • Excellent communication in English, Tamil (additional languages are a plus).

  • Good patient-handling and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
