Job Overview
A Telecaller plays a crucial role in the organization by handling outbound and inbound calls to connect with potential and existing customers, promote products or services, and generate leads or close sales. Telecallers act as the first point of contact between the company and the customer, ensuring they understand customer needs, answer queries, and maintain long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Calling

Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers from the company’s database.

Introduce and explain company products or services in a clear and convincing manner.

Persuade customers to show interest, schedule appointments, or make purchases.

Handle objections and rejections professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
2. Lead Generation & Sales
-
Identify and qualify potential leads through telephonic interaction.

Generate high-quality leads for the sales team by understanding customer requirements.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to calls, conversions, and revenue.

Provide relevant information about products and services to convert inquiries into sales.
3. Customer Support & Query Resolution

Respond promptly to customer queries, complaints, and requests.

Offer personalized assistance and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Record customer feedback and relay it to relevant departments for process improvement.
4. Database & Record Management

Update and maintain the customer database with accurate and up-to-date information.

Track customer interactions and maintain call logs in CRM systems or spreadsheets.

Categorize leads based on potential, priority, and follow-up requirements.
5. Follow-Ups & Relationship Building

Conduct regular follow-ups with interested customers to ensure lead nurturing.

Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Send reminders, promotional offers, and updates as required.
6. Team Collaboration

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows.

Share insights, customer feedback, and market trends with the team for strategy optimization.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving scripts and calling techniques.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
-
Minimum 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.

Additional certifications in sales, customer service, or communication skills are an advantage.
Experience
-
Fresher-friendly role – Candidates with good communication skills are welcome.

Prior experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer support is preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, or regional languages.
