Position Overview

A Telecaller in a real estate company plays a crucial role in connecting with prospective clients, understanding their property needs, and generating qualified leads for the sales or leasing team. This is a voice-based role that involves making outbound calls to potential buyers or investors, sharing project details, answering queries, and setting up appointments for site visits or consultations with property advisors.

The ideal candidate for this role should be persuasive, articulate, and possess a deep understanding of the real estate market and customer behavior.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outbound Calling and Lead Generation

  • Make outbound calls daily to connect with leads generated through marketing campaigns, property portals, walk-ins, and referrals.

  • Pitch real estate projects (residential/commercial) based on the client's interest and eligibility.

  • Explain key project features including location, price, amenities, layout, possession date, and investment benefits.

  • Convert cold leads into warm leads by building interest and trust over the phone.

2. Inbound Call Handling

  • Attend to incoming calls from potential clients with professionalism and urgency.

  • Provide complete information about ongoing projects and upcoming launches.

  • Redirect high-intent queries to the sales team or schedule appointments for site visits.

3. Appointment Scheduling and Coordination

  • Fix up site visit appointments for prospective clients with the relevant sales representatives.

  • Follow up with clients before and after appointments to keep them engaged and informed.

  • Coordinate between the client and the sales or CRM teams to ensure smooth communication.

4. Database Management and Reporting

  • Maintain and update daily call logs, lead status, and follow-up schedules using CRM tools or Excel.

  • Ensure accurate tracking of each lead from inquiry to closure stage.

  • Generate daily/weekly reports on calling activity, response rate, and conversion metrics.

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport with potential clients to encourage future interactions and referrals.

  • Respond to client questions or concerns professionally and courteously.

  • Understand customer preferences and guide them towards suitable property options.

6. Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the sales, marketing, and digital teams to align on campaign strategies and targets.

  • Share client feedback and market insights with management to improve project promotion.

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and project briefings.

Core Skills

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication in Hindi and English; knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.

  • Sales & Persuasion: Ability to convince and influence customers over the phone.

  • Listening Skills: Actively listen to customer queries to provide relevant solutions.

  • CRM Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or sales tracking tools.

  • Multi-tasking: Capable of managing multiple follow-ups and maintaining timely interactions.

  • Confidence & Patience: Ability to handle rejections positively and remain composed in fast-paced environments.
